You can adjust language translations and customize certain Recharge text elements to match your store's brand.

This guide provides information on the available translation settings.  

Access the Translation settings

  1. In the merchant portal, click Storefront and select Copy & translations.

  2. The available Translation settings vary based on your ecommerce platform.\n

Each translation field expands, where you can adjust the text customers see. Click Save once you've finished making your edits.

\n \n Can I host multiple languages on the same website?⌄\n \n

\n Recharge can only support one language at a time. Recharge is not compatible\n with any of the translation apps available on ecommerce platforms. As\n a\n workaround, you can translate different features within Recharge.\n

\n Another workaround is to create a store for each language you want to\n display, such as:\n

\n Tip: If you decide to set up multiple stores to handle\n different languages, the transaction fees apply to all stores using\n Recharge. On the\n Starter plan,\n there is an additional monthly cost. On the\n Plus plan,\n there is no additional monthly cost for storefronts created for languages,\n only the transaction fees. If you are not on the Plus plan and would\n like\n to access this setup click Talk to Sales on the\n Pricing\n page.\n

\n \n Can I translate the shipping country name at the checkout?⌄\n \n
\n

The shipping country name can't be translated. The ecommerce platform requires the shipping country name to match what's on their system exactly, or the order will be rejected.
