Hide or remove a bundle from your storefront
If you no longer want customers to purchase a bundle, you can hide it from your storefront or remove the bundle configuration entirely. The option you choose determines whether existing subscribers can continue managing and receiving their bundles.
This guide explains when to use Test Mode (Unlisted), Draft, or Delete bundle.

- Migrated Shopify Checkout Integration
Before you start
- Existing bundle subscribers are affected differently depending on whether you choose Unlisted (Test Mode) or Draft.
- If you use Draft, make sure existing subscribers have default selections configured before changing the bundle status.
Option 1 - Hide the bundle from new customers (recommended)
Use Unlisted (Test Mode) if you want to prevent new customers from purchasing the bundle while allowing existing subscribers to continue managing their subscriptions.
What happens
- The bundle is hidden from your storefront.
- New customers can't discover or purchase the bundle.
- Existing subscribers can continue updating bundle contents.
- Existing recurring orders continue processing normally.
In Recharge, this status appears as Test Mode.
You can change this status from either Shopify or Recharge. The two systems remain synchronized.
Note: Don't set individual bundle content products to Unlisted in Shopify. If any bundle content product is Unlisted, the bundle won't load correctly.
Option 2 - Prevent customers from purchasing or managing the bundle
Use Draft to remove the bundle from your storefront and prevent customers from updating its contents.
What happens
- The bundle is hidden from your storefront.
- Existing subscribers can no longer manage bundle contents.
- Bundles with default selections continue processing.
- Bundles without default selections may fail to process.
Option 3 - Remove the bundle configuration
If you no longer want the product to function as a bundle, delete the bundle configuration.
- In the merchant portal, click Products and select Bundles.
- Hover over the bundle to open the options menu.
- Click Delete bundle.
Deleting the bundle removes the bundle configuration and returns the product to a standard Shopify product.
Restrict access for existing subscribers
If you need to prevent existing subscribers from accessing the bundle product page entirely, you'll need custom storefront code to restrict access.
This customization is outside Recharge's scope of support. Recharge recommends working with a certified Recharge Partner or your own developer to implement this behavior.
