Understanding shipping calculations for Bundles

Different bundle types have different shipping behaviors.

Preset bundles

• Shipping is calculated based on all products in the bundle.
• Shopify shipping rules should account for Recharge replacing the parent product with the bundle contents during checkout.

Fixed-price customizable bundles

• Checkout orders: Shipping is calculated using the parent bundle product only.
• Recurring orders: Shipping is calculated using both the parent product and the bundle contents.

Dynamically-priced customizable bundles

• Shipping for both checkout and recurring orders is calculated using the bundle contents.
• Recharge recommends creating a shipping rate that covers the bundle regardless of the selected contents.
