Available products appear as out of stock at checkout

Issue
Customers add items with available inventory to the cart but when moving to the checkout are presented with an "out of stock" error.
Environment
Resolution
The out of stock error is normally a sign that your cart of subscription items is misdirecting to the Shopify Checkout.
On your storefront, attempt to replicate the issue the customer is experiencing. You may need to ask the customer for the exact steps they took to encounter the issue.
If you cannot replicate the issue, it's likely there was a temporary glitch due to the customer's internet connection or browser cache.
If you can replicate the issue follow the steps below to resolve.
Step 1 - Resync your products
In the merchant portal, select Products and locate the product causing the issue. Click Actions and select Sync to update the product and sync details with Shopify.
Step 2 - Retry the checkout process
Return to your storefront and clear the cart. After clearing the cart, return to the product page and attempt to add the item again through to checkout. If this resolves the error you may consider syncing your other products to ensure they are updated as well.
If you continue to experience issues, review how customers access the checkout. The Recharge Checkout Integration uses the cart page by default, so using a slider cart or other quick to checkout method may be the source of the issue.
Slider cart
Custom coding is required to ensure customers are directed to the Recharge checkout when using a Slider or Ajax cart. Review the Using Ajax to add items to the cart guide for steps to resolve. Customizations like this are not supported by Recharge. If you are not working with a developer currently, Recharge recommends hiring a third-party developer to assist you.
Quick view
Adding a Quick View to your store theme requires custom code for your Shopify storefront and is not supported by Recharge as per the design and integration policy. If you are not working with a developer currently, Recharge recommends hiring a third-party developer to assist you.
Page builder app customizations
As per the Recharge Design and Integration policy, Recharge only performs integrations on stores that keep the original theme layout/code inside the form that adds the product into the cart. As such, Recharge cannot integrate when a page-builder app is in use. If you are working with a developer, or feel comfortable with advanced code, the following guides may be helpful:
You may want to contact the page builder app's support team, as they should be able to help you through installing the necessary code.
Cart page
If the issue occurs from the cart page, review your Recharge integration to ensure all the code is in place. If the Recharge code is installed as expected, reach out to the Recharge Support team to review your integration.
