How does Recharge handle shipping for prepaid orders?

Shipping charges are not applied to prepaid shipment orders. Shipping for the full prepaid cycle must be charged on the initial purchase order. It is recommended to create a weight-based rate that covers the cost of shipments. Review Managing prepaid subscriptions for more information.
Queued prepaid orders retain their original free shipping code and title when processed from the initial prepaid charge. Any updates to shipping settings only apply to newly generated queued orders after the next charge is processed.
