Why is the same shipping rate displayed twice in the checkout?

Note: This question is only applicable to merchants using Recharge Zones and Rates.
If you have the same rate in a Recharge Zone and a Shopify Zone and have the "include rates from Shopify" setting toggled on, the rate will appear twice in the checkout. To avoid this, delete any duplicate rates in Recharge or toggle the "include rates" setting off.
