Draft orders are not compatible with Recharge for both Shopify and BigCommerce.

Recharge does not have the ability to create or read draft orders in Shopify or BigCommerce. Recharge has access and can create regular orders. However, draft orders do not connect the proper subscription properties to create the recurring subscription.

If necessary, merchants using the Recharge Checkout on Shopify or BigCommerce can create customers and orders manually within Recharge. Refer to Adding a Customer to Recharge manually.

Merchants cannot create customers and orders manually within Recharge. New subscription orders must go through the Shopify Checkout, as per Shopify's guidelines.
