Customers report that emails are being flagged by their mailing provider.

Resolution
The Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance policy (DMARC) is an email authentication protocol designed to protect domains from email spoofing. In some cases, email notifications are not sent because your store domain has an SPF or DKIM record put in place. This policy blocks certain emails from being sent on behalf of the domain they are configured on.
The following lists steps you can take to ensure your stores subscription notifications are recognized by your subscribers:
- Follow the steps outlined in Authenticating your custom domain in Recharge to authenticate your email domain.
- Check if you have added Recharge to your DMARC policy by using a website like DMARCanalyzer.
p=reject
. If found, you can update this to p=none
to stop blocking deliveries. It's important to note that this is not a secure solution and we recommend using SendGrid over this option.
If verification continues to fail we recommend working with your domain provider to troubleshoot further.
