Why does the order frequency listed in Shopify not match the order frequency in Recharge after manually updating the charge date?

The subscription frequency may display incorrectly for Shopify Checkout Integration merchants if the order frequency is manually changed at a later date.
When the order frequency is manually changed, Shopify does not update the specific selling plan associated with the order in Shopify. This results in Shopify displaying the original order frequency for a customer's order. This is only a UI limitation on Shopify's end and the order is still charged and shipped according to the updated frequency.
