Nodes exports
Each step in building a Subscription Experience is created in a flow node, ie. the Trigger node. Every step a customer takes in the experience is assigned to the relevant node.
This guide explains how you can export customers that went through each node, and the result of their action.
- Recharge Checkout on Shopify
- Shopify Checkout Integration
Before you start
- Nodes are the building blocks used to configure any type of Subscription Experience.
Access node data
You can export data for each node in your flow:
- Click Retain or Grow from the Recharge merchant portal, and select the specific Subscription Experience.
- Click on the specific Subscription Experience to open the flow canvas.
- Click the kebab menu, the three vertical dots, from any of the nodes on the canvas.
- Click Export data to download the relevant data.
Data available in all exports
All node exports contain the following information:
- Customer ID
- Flow ID
- Customer first name
- Customer last name
- Customer email
- Started at: When the customer went through the node
Subscription Experience-specific data
The Nodes Export contains additional data depending on the specific experience you're reviewing.
Incentive node
The incentive node varies depending on the experience type you are reviewing:
Rewards
The incentive offer node includes the incentive_result
as either:
- Applied: The incentive was applied to the customer’s next order
- Not applied: The incentive was not applied to the customer’s next order
Upcoming order cross-sell
The incentive node includes the upsell_offer_result
with one of the following values:
- Claimed: The number of customers that claimed the offer
- Declined: The number of customers that declined the offer
- Pending: The number of customers who did not accept or decline the offer, but the offer is still active on their account.
- Expired: The number of customers who did not accept or decline the cross-sell offer, and the offer is no longer available on their account. This happens if the customer enters another Subscription Experience that overwrites the existing offer with a new offer.
The notification nodes used with the Surprise and Delight, Rewards, and Upcoming order experiences display thenotification_delivery_status
with one of the following values:
- Sent: The notification was sent to the customer
- Skipped: The notification was not sent to the customer because they did not opt-in to receiving marketing emails
Exit survey node
The exit survey node in the Cancellation Prevention Subscription Experience includes the following additional columns:
- Variant id
- Product_title
- Response: This is the survey response the customer selects
- Strategy: The offer that’s accepted (if saved)
- Outcome: Saved or lost
