Issue
The status of the domain authentication is stuck in pending.
Environment
Platform: Cross-platform
Resolution
If the Verify option is failing this indicates the keys were not inputted correctly in your DNS settings.
If the status is stuck in pending you can take the following initial troubleshooting steps:
- Verify that all 3 keys are added exactly as we've provided them, without any extra keys or spaces.
- Confirm the keys are active.
- Return to the domain authentication page in Recharge and select Verify.
If verification continues to fail we recommend working with your domain provider to troubleshoot further.
Common DNS providers:
Note: Different domain hosting services may expect the record to be formatted differently. If authentication does not work with your full domain, use only the _rec, _rec2, or em(number assigned when verification started) as the host names.
Some DNS providers might add the top-level domain to the DKIM records, for example, rec._domainkey.yourdomain.com
. When copying your DKIM records from Recharge you only need to copy the rec._domainkey
value, without your added domain.
