Why do my prepaid gift subscriptions show as churned in my analytics?
Prepaid gift subscriptions are configured to expire after the first charge. A prepaid subscription is considered cancelled at the point of status change, even if there are queued orders remaining to deliver.
An active subscription is a subscription with a status of Active
. Cancelled subscriptions and expired subscriptions are not included in this definition.
The Active subscribers/Active subscription count for Recharge analytics are net totals based on subscription status. Therefore, prepaid gifts are not included in this count and instead are included in the churn count.
