I need to activate a new advanced Failed Payment Recovery strategy, how do I ensure charges in my existing strategy keep running?

Note: To avoid disruptions, activate a new strategy before deactivating the current one. When activating a new strategy, the existing one will automatically get deactivated.
When a charge is in an existing advanced Failed Payment Recovery strategy and gets retried, it will continue in the new strategy as expected.
For example, if the charge in an existing strategy fails on the next retry date, the new advanced Failed Payment Recovery strategy will assess where that charge is in the strategy and continue from that point. If the charge in an existing strategy is successful, the analytics will be updated to show that it has been recovered.
Note: If you are using a custom template that has more retry nodes than Recharge's default template and want to create a new strategy, you should duplicate your existing template to make the edits. If you create a new strategy instead of duplicating, the new strategy will use Recharge's default template and any charges that exceed the number of retry attempts won't continue in the new strategy the next time they fail.
