Incorrect payment processor or payment processor not enabled error messages appear.

This applies to merchants who are using Stripe Card Payments as their payment processor in Shopify.
Resolution
Stripe Card Payments is not supported by Shopify for subscription purchases. Stripe, which is only available to some merchants, is not the same as Stripe Card Payments.
You will need to contact Shopify Support in order to change the payment processor to Stripe. Once Shopify has changed the payment processor to Stripe, the error will be removed and Shopify will be able to process the charge.
