How can I determine if an order is billed by Shopify or Recharge?
Migrated Shopify Checkout Integration
On the Migrated Shopify Checkout Integration platform, you will have a mix of customers whose orders are either billed through Recharge or Shopify. Certain customer management tasks will depend on which platform controls the order's payment processing.
Check the payment gateway
To determine if a customer will be billed by Shopify or Recharge, you can check the customer's Payment Gateway.
- In the merchant portal, select Customers.
- Click Customers and then navigate to the Customer overview page you'd like to view.
- Click Manage payment methods.
Customers who are billed through the payment processor in Shopify will show as "Shopify Payments". Customers who are billed through the payment processor in Recharge, Recharge will show the payment processor name.
If a customer has multiple payment methods on file, you will need to expand each payment method to see the attached payment gateway.
