Issue
Customers cannot apply discount codes through the Unity customer portal.

This only applies to merchant Using the Unity customer portal.
Resolution
When creating discount codes, the the API channel must be enabled so that customers can apply the discount code through the Unity customer portal. See Select channel permissions for enabling the API channel while creating discount codes.
