Why am I seeing a "Some provinces were not imported for this shipping zone" error?

Issue

Some provinces were not imported for this shipping zone error message appears after importing rates from Shopify.

Environment

Cause

This happens when a country is selected in your Shopify shipping zone that does not include the region or province selections. Recharge requires regions or provinces to be defined in order to apply shipping rates correctly.

Resolution

To resolve this error:

1. Click the vertical dot menu next to the shipping zone and select Edit shipping zone.
2. Remove the country that shows "0 of X Regions".
3. Click Select Countries to re-add the country.
4. Choose the country again and select all regions or provinces you want to ship to for that country.
5. Click Save to apply your changes.
