Managing your Recharge account
This guide provides an overview of the Store section in Recharge, including how to update your store's contact information, provide storefront access to Recharge staff, and how to view your billing information and invoices.
Update store name or email address
You may need to update your store name or email address. This is especially useful if you need to update the email address your store notifications are sent to or update how your store name appears in notifications.
- Click Settings in the merchant portal and select Store.
- Enter the new store name and/or email address under Store information.
- Click Save.
Record storefront password
If your store is under construction, you can set a password in your eCommerce store. Shopify refers to this as a storefront password, and BigCommerce refers to this as a preview code. You can add your password or preview code to Recharge, to allow our support team to access the storefront when troubleshooting.
- Click Settings in the merchant portal and select Store.
- Enter your current storefront password under Store information.
- Click Save.
Update your billing information
Recharge Checkout on Shopify or BigCommerce
- Click Settings in the merchant portal and select Billing & plan.
- Click Update payment method under Payment Information.
- Enter your new billing details and click Save.
