Considerations
- Due to US laws and legislation, RechargeSMS cannot support stores selling products containing cannabidiol (CBD). Review the selling CBD products using Recharge guide for further details.
- The phone number used to send SMS messages to customers is randomly assigned by Recharge’s SMS provider.
- Merchants cannot opt-in customers. Customers must opt-in using the checkout or landing page opt-in widgets.
- RechargeSMS is for transactional messages only. If you are considering marketing SMS messages, review the supported apps and integrations guide.
- RechargeSMS is only compatible with phone numbers originating from the United States and Canada (with +1 country code). Subscribe to the Recharge Changelog to be notified of feature releases.
- RechargeSMS cannot guarantee delivery of SMS messages. There may be times when a cell phone carrier fails to deliver or send a message due to system interruptions out of RechargeSMS's control.
- The time displayed on SMS messages is in UTC and is not adjusted to your or your customers' local time zones.
