Updating your store vertical

Your store vertical identifies the industry or market segment your business operates in. Recharge uses your selected vertical for features such as Industry Benchmarks.
This guide explains how to request an update to your store's vertical.
Before you start
You select your store vertical when you first install Recharge.
If your business changes or you selected the wrong vertical during setup, you can request an update at any time.
Step 1 - Open the Benchmarks dashboard
- In the Recharge merchant portal, click Analytics and select Dashboards.
- Click Performance.
- Select Benchmarks.
Step 2 - Submit a recategorization request
- Locate the Industry benchmarks section.
- Click Submit a recategorization request.
- Complete the request form with your updated business information.
- Submit the request.
