Flow warning about multiple active flows with the same trigger

Issue

You see the following warning message in Flows:

“You currently have multiple active flows with the same trigger. If a customer meets the trigger conditions on multiple active flows, only the most recently created flow will run. Please review all your active Rewards or Upcoming order flows to check for potential trigger condition conflicts.”

This warning appears even though your flows are working as expected.

Environment

Cause

This warning can appear when you have multiple Upsell flows enabled at the same time, such as:

• Upsell all products flow
• Upsell specific line items flow

Because these flows share the same trigger type, Recharge displays the warning to indicate a potential trigger overlap.

Resolution

No action is required if your upsell setup is intentional.

Having both Upsell all products and Upsell specific line items flows active does not cause an issue and will not prevent upsells from working correctly. The warning is informational only and does not indicate a problem in this scenario.

You only need to review or deactivate flows if:

• You have multiple flows with the same trigger and overlapping conditions that are not intended to run together, or
• You are seeing unexpected flow behavior.

If your upsells are functioning as expected, you can safely ignore this warning.
