Issue
You received the message "Shopify is not allowing the discount to be added to your store".

Cause
This error message appears if another automatic discount function clashes with tiered discounts. Shopify blocks the discount because stores cannot have two different checkout functions applying at the same time.
Resolution
You must remove the other automatic discount function to ensure tiered discounts work.
