Understand SMS verification statuses
Recharge displays an SMS verification status banner in Concierge to keep you informed about the status of your toll-free SMS verification submission.
Your status determines whether any action is required. Some submissions can be updated and resubmitted, while others may not be eligible for resubmission.

SMS verification is under review
If your SMS verification is under review, Recharge is still waiting for the verification result.
This process typically takes 1–4 business days. No action is required while your submission is under review. Recharge will notify you when the review is complete.
SMS verification was not approved
If your SMS verification was not approved, the banner in Concierge explains what happened and what you can do next.
You can update and resubmit your verification
Some rejected submissions can be updated and resubmitted. If your submission is eligible for resubmission, the banner displays an Update & resubmit option.
Review the rejection reason shown in Concierge, update your submission with the requested information, and resubmit it for review. See How to fix SMS verification rejections for additional information.
After you resubmit your verification, the review process typically takes 1–4 business days.
The rejection reason is unavailable
In some cases, Recharge may not receive a specific rejection reason. If this happens, Concierge displays a generic error message.
Contact Recharge Support for help reviewing your SMS verification status.
Your submission cannot be resubmitted
Some SMS verification rejections are final and cannot be resubmitted. This can happen if the submission includes restricted or ineligible content.
If your submission is rejected due to restricted content, you cannot update or resubmit the verification through Concierge.

SMS verification is approved
If your SMS verification is approved, the status banner no longer displays in Concierge. No further action is required.
