Understanding the Subscriptions tab in Recharge
The Subscriptions tab in the merchant portal allows you to seamlessly view and edit your customers’ subscriptions in a convenient and centralized list.
This guide provides an overview of the Subscriptions tab, including available features, how to customize the view, and more information to help you effectively manage your subscriptions in Recharge.
View and explore subscriptions in Recharge
Select Customers from your merchant portal and click Subscriptions from the dropdown.
This page shows all of your customers’ subscriptions in a list view. You can scroll to the bottom to choose how many subscriptions you want to view per page. Refer to the following sections in this guide to learn more about the features on this page:

Search and filter subscriptions
The Subscriptions tab includes various search and filter options to help you efficiently find the subscriptions you want to view or edit.
Search for specific subscriptions
- Select Customers in the merchant portal and click Subscriptions from the dropdown.
- Click the dropdown next to the search field and choose your search option.
- Enter your search criteria in the search field and press Enter.

All | The All search option allows you to search for any of the accepted search options. |
Customer email | The customer’s email address associated with the subscription.
Note: You can only search for one email at a time and the entire email address must be entered, including the domain. For example:
support@rechargeapps.com . |
Customer name | The customer’s full name. |
Customer phone | The phone number associated with the customer's account. |
Customer address or Address ID |
Use the customer's address associated with their account or numerical Address ID associated with a customer’s subscription. If you need to find Address IDs in Recharge:

Subscription ID |
The numerical Subscription ID associated with a customer’s subscription. If you need to find Subscription IDs in Recharge:

Customer ID |
The numerical Customer ID associated with a customer’s subscription. If you need to find Customer IDs in Recharge:

Product and variant title |
The product title and variant title for your products. |
Product and variant ID |
The product and variant ID from your ecommerce platform. If you need to find the product or variant ID:

Use filters to find specific subscriptions
- Select Customers in the merchant portal and click Subscriptions from the dropdown.
- Click Filters and choose your filter option.
- Click Apply filters.

Definition |
Created date | Search by the date the subscription was created. Use the radio buttons to select either of the following options:

Status | Choose which subscriptions to show based on the status. Use the radio buttons to select either of the following options:

Prepaid |
Filter by prepaid subscriptions. Use the radio buttons to select the following options:

Price | Filter by the price of your subscriptions. Use the dropdown menu to select the range and enter the amount. |
Product |
Enter the external product or variant ID to search for specific products. Add multiple products separated by commas. If you need to find the product or variant ID:

Address |
Filter by customer address using the following options:

Edit subscriptions
Edit subscriptions directly in the Subscriptions tab using the Actions dropdown.
The following common actions can be done from the Subscriptions tab:
- Reschedule next order
- Edit frequency
- Edit subscription product such as product name, variant, variant name, quantity, and recurring price
- Swap
- Cancel
- Delete
- Reactivate
Customize your view
Customize your view to only show the columns and information that you want to see.
Click Edit Columns and use the checkboxes to select the information you want to display, and deselect what you want to remove.
Additional features
The Subscription ID, Address ID, Customer ID, External product ID, and Variant ID are all hyperlinked, allowing you to easily access these settings in Recharge or your ecommerce platform.

Subscription ID | Click the Subscription ID to view and edit aspects of the subscription (i.e. change the charge date or quantity, edit, swap, or cancel the subscription, etc). |
Address ID | The Address ID links to the subscription’s Address ID page, where you can see all charges, the customer’s shipping, and billing address, and more. |
Customer ID | The Customer ID links to the customer’s Subscription orders page, which outlines all of the customer’s subscriptions. |
External product ID / Variant ID | The External product ID / Variant ID both link to the product page in your eCommerce platform. |
