Viewing subscription and order details
The Subscription and Order details page provides information about your customers and their subscriptions, allowing you to view and edit subscription details directly in the customer portal.

Order details page overview
The Order details page provides details on orders and charges. All of a customer's orders are grouped under the Order details section of the page.
You can use this section to view queued, processed, or errored charges, or get additional information about individual charges.
Navigate orders
To view processed orders:
- In the merchant portal, select Customers, then click Orders.
- Locate the customer.
- Click the Recharge order ID.
To refund a processed order:
- In the merchant portal, select Customers, then click Orders.
- Locate the customer.
- Click Refund in Shopify.
- Complete the refund in Shopify.
To cancel a processed order:
- In the merchant portal, select Customers, then click Orders.
- Locate the customer.
- Click the Recharge order ID.
- Select Cancel order.
- Click Confirm: cancel order.
Subscription details page overview
The Subscription details page streamlines the subscription management experience:
- Subscription settings are consolidated into subsections for increased visibility, making it easy to manage subscriptions for customers
- Both Recent and Upcoming orders are available to provide easy access to the most relevant subscription orders
The Subscription details page includes a right-hand column with information cards that show:
A customer overview (including a link to view all subscriptions for that customer)
The current shipping address with a Manage address menu
The current payment method (or No payment method)
Read-only subscription details such as status, subscription ID, product/variant IDs, and the created date
On the Subscription details page, you can conveniently manage every aspect of the customer's order and subscription, including changing their address and updating their payment methods.
Review and edit subscriptions
To edit a subscription:
- In the merchant portal, select Customers, then click Customers in the dropdown.
- Select the customer.
- Locate the subscription that needs editing and hover over it to open the three vertical dot menu.
- Edit the subscription using one of the following options:
- Click Reschedule next order to edit the next order date.
- Click Edit frequency to adjust the frequency and expiry of the subscription.
- Click Edit subscription product to adjust the product title, variant, price, or quantity.
- Click Swap to swap to a different subscription product.
- Click Move address to adjust the shipping address for that subscription or switch to another address on file for that customer.
- Click Cancel subscription to cancel the subscription.
- Click Delete to delete the subscription.
Prepaid subscriptions details page overview
The Prepaid subscriptions details page streamlines management of prepaid subscriptions. Prepaid orders are tagged for visibility.
View a prepaid subscription
- Click a prepaid subscription to open its details page.
- In the Upcoming orders section, paid orders are marked as prepaid and have a Queued order status.
- Orders tagged with Renewal are orders scheduled for the date a prepaid subscription cycle renews.
You can expand each upcoming order section to display charge details, add shipments, refund charges, reschedule orders, or add/remove variants.
