Changing the currency of a subscription

The currency on an old or active subscription cannot be changed. You must create a new customer shipping address and add a new subscription with the updated currency.

Step 1 - Add a new customer address
Update the customer's currency selection by adding a new address for the customer:
- In the merchant portal, select Customers and click Customers.
- Search for and select the customer.
- Click Add address.
- Add the customer's payment method, address information, and set the preferred currency.
- Click Confirm: add address.
Step 2 - Add a new customer subscription
- Click Add product in the new customer address.
- Select the product matching the original subscription and click Next.
- Update the subscription details if needed.
- Click First charge date and match it to the original subscription's next order date. For prepaid subscriptions, choose a date at least one week in the future.
- Click Add product to finish.
Step 3 - Cancel the old subscription
For regular product subscriptions or prepaid subscriptions set to renew, cancel the existing subscription.
For existing remaining $0 prepaid shipments, these can continue as planned since they are processed without a charge.
