Customer Portal translations
You can adjust the language translations and customize certain text elements in your customer portal to match your store's brand.
This guide provides information on adjusting the wording used throughout your customer portal.
Overview
Recharge offers the ability to update the wording and phrases used throughout your customer portal to better align with your brand, or to translate the language used when communicating with customers. The customer portal language is set to English by default. See Translations for additional details.
Access the Translation settings
- In the merchant portal, click Storefront and select Copy & translations.
- Select the Customer Portal - Affinity or Customer Portal - Themes translations tab.
- Each translation field expands, where you can adjust the text customers see. Click Save once you've finished making your edits.

Translate Affinity into different languages
With Affinity, you can save multiple translations of the customer portal in different languages and display these to customers depending on the language they select when viewing the portal. Use the Language dropdown menu to create additional translations for the Affinity customer portal.
Recharge does not automatically translate the portal for your customer. You must add your own translations for any other languages.
Passwordless login translations for Affinity
Use the Account login section under the Customer Portal - Themes tab to update the wording customers see when using passwordless login.

Translate the Request Account Access page
- Shopify Checkout Integration
The Request Account Access page can be adjusted through the Translation settings.
- In the merchant portal, click Storefront and select Copy & translations.
- Select Customer Portal - Themes and expand Request account invite.
- Update the applicable fields and click Save.
