Understanding Rewards streak count
A streak count is an excellent way to strategically incentivize loyal customers by rewarding them at specific milestones in their subscription journey. By recognizing and celebrating their ongoing commitment, you can enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
How it works
Streak count, when offering rewards to customers, refers to the number of consecutive orders a customer completes to earn rewards.
This table outlines the process of rewarding customers based on their streak count of processed orders.
ORDER PROCESSED/STREAK NUMBER |
SUBSCRIPTION EXPERIENCE TRIGGERS AFTER |
INCENTIVE IS FULFILLED |
1 | Checkout | 2nd global order |
2 | First recurring order | 3rd global order |
3 | Second recurring order | 4th global order |
- Order Processed/Streak Number: Shows the sequence of orders placed by the customer.
- Subscription Experience Triggers After: Indicates when the streak count is triggered based on the customer’s subscription journey.
- Incentive is Fulfilled: Details when the reward is given based on the streak count.
For instance, after a customer checks out their first order (streak number 1), the incentive is fulfilled on their second global order.
Customers are notified via email when the incentive is added to their next queued order.

Considerations
If you offer incentives on Rewards on prepaid subscriptions, prepaid subscription order numbers are calculated based on the amount charged for the prepaid subscription, not on any free prepaid orders. If an incentive or credit is applied, it is added to the amount of the next charge and not the free prepaid order.
For instance, if a customer buys a 3-month prepaid subscription for $90, which includes 2 free orders, a $10 reward incentive will be applied to the next $90 charge after the prepaid period, not to the free orders.
