How to translate your selling plans
Make your subscription offerings more accessible and consistent across languages by translating your selling plan.
This guide outlines the key benefits of translating your selling plans and walks you through the setup process in Recharge.
- Shopify Checkout Integration
- Migrated Shopify Checkout Integration
How it works
Use the Localize plan option to translate your selling plans into multiple languages across the:
- Subscription Widget
- Checkout and any checkout app blocks
- Unity and Affinity customer portals
When customers interact with a product in any of these areas, Recharge shows the correct translation based on their location. When you use a bulk tool on the product list page, Recharge copies your translations automatically.
Recharge uses the languages you set in your Shopify admin as the language options for your customers.
Key benefits
- Unlocks full localization: Selling plan names are now consistent with languages used across the rest of your storefront.
- Improves the customer experience: Your customers can now see offers in their native language, which builds trust and clarity.
- Reduces manual work: No need for custom code or workarounds to localize subscription offers.
- Supports global growth: You can confidently expand to new markets knowing the entire subscription journey supports multiple languages.
Step 1 - Confirm your languages in your Shopify admin
