How can my gift recipient subscribe once their credit runs out?
If your store has frictionless payment method updates enabled, gift recipients can add a payment method directly in the customer portal once their credit runs out. See Updating payment methods directly in the customer portal for more information on eligibility.
If your store does not have frictionless payment method updates enabled, the customer will need to go through checkout in order to add a payment method.
Customers will see a banner in the customer portal alerting them that their credit has run out. You can also set up a Klaviyo flow to automatically notify gift recipients when their credit runs out, prompting them to go through checkout and add a payment method to continue their subscription.
