Adding and removing supported third-party shipping apps in Recharge Shipping Zones and Rates

Recharge Shipping Zones and Rates allow you to set up shipping zones and rates directly within Recharge and import rates from third-party integrations. This guide covers setting up a shipping zone to display rates from supported third-party integrations.

Before you start 

• Recharge Shipping Zones and Rates are compatible with ShipStation and ShipperHQ.
• You must have the third-party integration configured in Recharge before you can add the shipping rate to your shipping zone. 

Add a third-party shipping rate

Ensure that the third-party integration is configured in Recharge before adding the shipping rate to a zone. 

Step 1 - Access your Recharge shipping settings

1. Click Settings in your merchant portal and select Shipping. 

Step 2 - Add or select a shipping zone

Any shipping rates configured in the third-party integration are displayed at the Recharge checkout. 

1. Select Add shipping zone to create a new shipping zone, or click the three-vertical-dot menu and select Manage rates if you are using an existing shipping zone.
2. Select Add rates and click Add a shipping rate.
3. Under How do you want to add this rate? select Use a third-party app to calculate rate.
4. Select your third-party app from the dropdown menu.
5. Click Apply.

Remove third-party rates

Rates must be removed before the third-party shipping app can be removed from Installed Apps.

Step 1 - Remove rates

1. In the merchant portal, click Settings and select Shipping.
2. Click the three-vertical-dot menu and select Manage rates if you are using an existing shipping zone.
3. Click the trash can icon and select Confirm: delete rate to remove.

Step 2 - Remove the app integration

Once rates are removed, the integration can be removed from Apps.

1. In the merchant portal, click Apps and select Installed.
2. Select the third-party shipping app you have installed and click the trash can icon to remove.
