"You've reached the maximum number of active tiered and automatic discounts" warning

Issue
You received the message "You've reached the maximum number of active tiered and automatic discounts. To apply this discount to existing subscriptions, deactivate a tiered discount or an automatic discount that applies to existing subscriptions."

Cause
Recharge allows a combined total of 25 active Tiered discounts and Automatic discounts that apply to new checkout orders and existing subscriptions.
Note: Automatic discounts that apply only to new checkout orders (and not existing subscriptions) do not count towards this limit.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, deactivate one of the following:
- An active Tiered discount
- An active Automatic discount set to apply to New checkout orders and existing subscriptions
Tip: Check whether an Automatic discount applies to existing subscriptions on the Discount page by reviewing the Availability setting. If Availability shows as All orders, the discount applies to both new checkout orders and existing subscriptions and counts toward the 25-discount limit.
