Approaching or exceeding the limit for products and plans

Recharge supports up to 100 product variants by default. If your product includes prepaid plans, the practical limit may be lower as each variant and plan combination increases the total data size. When your store is approaching around 80% of this limit, you will see a warning banner in the merchant portal prompting you to consider switching to multiple products with fewer variants or plans. If the limit has been exceeded, an error banner will appear and you should make changes as soon as possible to avoid disruptions.

If you need to support more than 100 variants or have a complex prepaid configuration, please contact support. Our team can review your setup and advise on available options. We are actively working to increase these limits in the future to better support more complex product configurations.
