How to migrate non-subscription customers
Migrate non-subscription customers to Recharge and extend your reward offerings to your entire customer base, including one-time customers.

Before you start
- Rewards functionality is only available on the Retain package. Check the Rewards tab in your merchant portal to confirm if you have access to Rewards or to get in touch with a member of the Recharge sales team.

Migration instructions
Follow these steps to migrate non-subscription customers into Recharge:
Step 1 - Fill out the CSV form
Download and complete the migration CSV template. Ensure all required fields (first name, last name, email) are filled accurately. Optional fields can be included if relevant. Refer to Template headings explained for heading descriptions.
Step 2 - Submit a migration request
Contact the Recharge Migrations team at migrations@rechargeapps.com with the completed CSV file to migrate your non-subscription customers to Recharge.
Optional - Import credits for new customer accounts
Once the migration process is complete, use Recharge’s Bulk Import tool to import credits to the new customer accounts. Refer to Bulk Importing Credits for detailed instructions.
Template headings explained
Make sure your CSV file includes the following columns:

The customer’s first name (required field). |
last_name | The customer’s last name (required field). |
Email of the non-subscription customer. This is required for each row (required field). | |
customer_created_at | This is the customer's creation date in your old system. The format should be YYYY-MM-DD (optional field). |
