Why are there different address IDs for the same physical address?

You may notice multiple address IDs linked to the same physical address for a customer. This can occur for several factors:
- Address Reuse feature is turned off
- The subscription address was edited
- The address is associated with gift subscriptions
- Legacy data or data migrations
If you'd like to merge duplicate addresses, follow the steps in Merge Addresses. To help prevent this in the future, make sure the Address Reuse feature is turned on.
