- Recharge recommends using the Recharge Cart when offering quantity upsells. See Cart behavior for quantity upsells for more details.
Key features
Quantity Upsells uses both Product Subscription Plans and the Recharge Subscription Widget to let customers buy multiple quantities of a product at checkout, and receive a greater discount the more they buy.
For example, with Quantity Upsells, you could offer customers:
- 15% off if they purchase a 1-month supply of products
- 25% off if they purchase a 2-month supply of products
- 30% off if they purchase a 3-month supply of products
With Quantity Upsells, you reward customers with larger incentives the more they spend.
Offer customers flexible quantity-based upsells
Quantity Upsells let customers subscribe to multiple units of a product in a single plan, rather than purchasing each unit individually. You can configure discounts that scale with quantity, giving customers more value when they buy more.
Leverage smarter fulfillment and cost efficiency
By allowing customers to buy in larger quantities at longer intervals, you reduce the number of small, frequent shipments. This helps you optimize your fulfillment processes and shipping costs while maintaining consistent customer engagement.
Quantity upsells across the customer journey
Offer quantity-upsell plans for products at key touchpoints to increase retention and AOV. You can now surface these offers within cancellation prevention flows (as swap options), winback landing pages, and upcoming order emails (as cross-sell opportunities).
